When using the Delacon Google Analytics integration, there are 4 default Event Categories that are available when reviewing the call data.
calltracking
-This event category is used when Delacon has captured web session information for the callers current visit. Google Analytics will consider this event as part of the current website session for the callers web browser.
- calls for this category will be marked with "Y" in the Converted column in the Delacon call log
repeat
-The caller has previously called (and an Event with "calltracking" category was sent) and has called again without revisiting the website. Google Analytics will consider this event as part of the original/previous website session for the callers web browser.
- calls for this category will be marked with "R" in the Converted column in the Delacon call log
offline
-The caller has dialled from an offline source (eg a billboard, business card, word of mouth) or from an online source where Delacon's tracking code is not/can not be installed, and no website session information will be available. Google Analytics will create a new session to accomodate this Event.
- calls for this category will have no entry in the Converted column in the Delacon call log
Callext
- The caller has dialled a tracking number used as call extension with valid Adwords data available
The labels used for each scenario can be customised on request.
