Delacon provides information on the geo-location of the caller, which is determined by these two factors:
- For calls from a landline - The geo-location will be determined by the caller's phone number. Based on the area code, Delacon can extract the exchange, city and state information, which will be displayed in the Delacon portal as e.g. DRUMMOYNE, SYDNEY, NSW. This information will be available regardless of whether the call came from an offline or online source.
- For calls from a mobile - The geo-location will be based on the caller's IP address and will show the city and state information, e.g. MELBOURNE, VIC. This information will only be available for callers with a live web session. Please note that the location of the IP address may not always match the location of the caller.
- USA Only - The ZIP code associated with the inbound caller number will be shown in the call reports for Online Calls.
