To allow you to benefit from the sophisticated reporting features available in Google Data Studio, Delacon can now upload customers’ pre-anonymised call tracking data into Delacon’s Google BigQuery cloud-based storage account.
Because this represents a new use of customer data, we are asking for your permission to send the data we hold for [NAME OF CUSTOMER] into Delacon’s BigQuery account. Please keep in mind:
all data we send to BigQuery will be pre-anonymised (that is to say, any personal information within the data will be masked); and
once transferred to Delacon’s BigQuery account, your data will only be used to generate reports and insights for [NAME OF CUSTOMER], via Data Studio.
If [NAME OF CUSTOMER] requires its data to be available to it within BigQuery, then Delacon will make that data accessible to [NAME OF CUSTOMER] from the Delacon BigQuery account via “method 2” described in Delacon’s BigQuery user guide (it is Delacon’s policy not to transfer customer data directly from the Delacon environment to the customer’s BigQuery account).
To allow us to complete our operational updates, please kindly reply to this email as soon as possible, and in any case by close of business on [DATE ONE WEEK AFTER DATE OF EMAIL]. advising:
(a) whether or not Delacon has permission to transfer anonymised data from the Delacon account of [NAME OF CUSTOMER] to Delacon’s BigQuery account; and
(b) whether [NAME OF CUSTOMER] requires its data to be made available to it within Delacon’s BigQuery account, in the manner described above.
If permission to transfer your data to Delacon’s BigQuery account is denied, Delacon will not store any data held for [NAME OF CUSTOMER] in our BigQuery account unless we subsequently receive express permission to do so.
Many thanks for your attention, we look forward to hearing back from you.
