There are 3 statuses for calls made to Delacon numbers;
Normal/Answered - The call has been connected to the customers termination point.
Missed - The termination point has been rung but not answered by the operator, and the call has been disconnected by the caller. This is dependant on the defined Transfer Time
Busy - The termination point is not available and came back with a busy signal
In the case of Normal/Answered calls, these are based on the connection to the termination point and not the conversation. If the termination point connects the call in any way without the operator answering the phone (IVR, hunt group, voicemail, etc) this will be an answered call from Delacon's perspective.
With regards to voicemail services, if the call is answered by the end point's voicemail service (eg on your mobile), the call will be classed as an answered call in the Delacon reporting. If you do want to be able to distinguish between genuinely answered calls and missed calls that have gone to Voicemail, you will need to ensure to use Delacon's in-house voicemail service.
