If you are looking to identify your Web enquiries within Google Analytics, follow the steps below.
Step 1 Login to your Google Analytics account at https://analytics.google.com/analytics/web/
Step 2 Select your relevant account and view
Step 3 Identify your goal completion for 'web enquiries' by clicking on these menu items: 'Conversions' >> 'Goals' >> 'Overview' >> within 'Goal Option' Select 'web enquiries' goal, the naming convention could be different to this user guide for example 'contact us form' or 'web leads' or 'online enquiry' or 'form completion' etc...
If you are unsure which Goal to choose, you could submit a test web enquiry by following these steps below:
Step 1. Visit your website, for example https://www.delacon.com.au
Step 2. Find the web form and complete all the required fields and complete the process for example by clicking on the button 'I want to track my sales calls'
Step 3. Identify the 'thank you page' URL, see screenshots below where to find the URL for your 'thank you page' , your 'thank you' page URL could be different to this example, for example www.yourwebsiteurl.com/thank-you
Step 4. Identify if the 'thank you page' URL has been created as a Goal for 'web enquiries' within Google Analytics
Step 4.1 Login to your Google Analytics account at https://analytics.google.com/analytics/web/
Step 4.2 Select your relevant account and view
Step 4.3 Click on 'Admin' menu from bottom left
Step 4.4 Select 'Goals' option from the right side column
Step 4.5 Find your 'web enquiry' goal, the naming convention could be different to this user guide for example 'contact us form' or 'web leads' or 'online enquiry' or 'form completion' etc...
The best way to identify it is by checking the configurations, click on the 'web enquiries' goal to access the next step
Step 4.6 On the 'Goal details' section click on the 'Edit' option
Step 4.7 Checking the 'thank you' page URL, for example '/homesuccess' is matching to Step 3 above
Step 4.8 If you are unable to find the 'web enquiries' goal within your Google Analytics, you will need to create a new goal for it by repeating Step 4.1 to 4.4 above then additional steps below
Step 4.9 After you completed step 4.1 to 4.4 above, next step is to click on +NEW GOAL to create a new goal for 'web enquiries'
Step 4.10 Scroll down then choose 'Custom' then click 'Continue'
Step 4.11 Insert the name for example: 'Web Enquiries' , within the 'Type' choose 'Destination' then click 'Continue'
Step 4.12 Insert the 'thank you page' URL within the field then click 'Save'
