Introduction
This guide will take you through the steps to push Delacon calls into Facebook campaign manager as offline conversion events using Zapier. Please note, that you will need a Zapier account.
You will need to:
1. Create an offline event in Facebook
2. Connect Delacon to Zapier
3. Connect Zapier to Facebook
1. Create an offline event in Facebook
Step 1
Create an offline event set for Delacon calls in Facebook for Business - https://en-gb.facebook.com/business/help/339320669734609?id=565900110447546
Step 2
Create a custom conversion to be associated with the offline event set –
https://en-gb.facebook.com/business/help/182135238967018?id=565900110447546
2. Connect Delacon to Zapier
Please review the Zapier integration guide that will take you through the steps for connecting your Delacon call data with Zapier.
You will need to complete Steps 1 (Linking Delacon and Zapier) and 2 (Creating a Zap) of that guide. For step 3 (Setting up an Action), please return to this guide to connect your Zap to Facebook.
Step 3
For your Zap from Delacon, you will still need to add a filter to only send calls that match Facebook as the referral A. You can also add extra filters, for example, adding caller intent to leads that come from a specific pattern in your IVR B , as shown below.
Step 4
Search for Send Offline Event in Facebook Offline Conversions and Choose Facebook Account
Step 5
Select the Facebook Business account and Event set for the Delacon calls (as defined under Step 1). Add the landing page A information as a Custom Data to capture the campaign information.
Please note, you will have to set up the UTM parameters beforehand so that the source of the call will be captured as "Facebook" in the Delacon reporting. More info can be found in this guide.
Other optional events can be added, such as Caller Phone Number, Country, Value, etc
Step 6
Click on Done Editing. Please note that due to the method we push data, testing on the Delacon trigger doesn't work at the moment. Skipping the test is required to proceed with building the Zap at this point in time. It won't impact the functionality of the Zap.
Step 7
Make sure you turn your Zap on. Simply click the ‘on’ button to turn it on and start running tasks
This completes the integration.
Please verify it is working by placing a test call to the Delacon tracking number and check that it is filtering through to Facebook Campaign Manager.
