Introduction
SuperTag allows you to easily implement and update any tag on any website with limited or no IT involvement. Once you have a SuperTag account, you can manage all of your tags via SuperTag’s Tag Library and Tag Tree. SuperTag supports a vast array of tags such as Google Analytics & AdWords, Marin, Site Catalyst, MailChimp, and Facebook.
SuperTag offers you an easy to use online user interface enabling marketers to manage tags without intensive technology support. After you’ve created an account, you simply log on to your SuperTag account at https://app.supert.ag/login. You can then click on Tag Library and select the Delacon Tag and add your custom Delacon c_id’s and m_id’s. You can also create a site for testing purposes as well, so that nothing goes live until it is fully tested and proven to be working properly. You can also create rules for each of your tags. For example, if you only wanted to have your tags to activate on certain pages, you could create a specific rule for this. You then grab your custom SuperTag JavaScript code and install it on your website. Lastly, you deploy your SuperTag. Once deployed, your SuperTag is active.
The advantages of using SuperTag include:

Interface overview
Below is a snapshot of some of the SuperTag screens to offer you a brief introduction.
Tag Library
You can start by selecting a particular tag that you want to integrate from the Tag Library. Once you select a tag, it will appear under the Tag Tree.
Tag Tree
The Tag Tree can be found under the Tags tab. The Tag Tree displays all your current tags, business rules, and what tags are enabled or disabled. If your tag is enabled you will see a green dot next to it.
You can also hover over any of the tags for a context-sensitive menu to handle various tasks.
Installed Applications
You can view a list of all your currently installed tags. When you are on the tags page, click on the Installed Applications button at the top-left of the page beside the navigation panel.
Clicking that button takes you to the installed platforms in the current project. Clicking the specific platform shows all installed tags related to that platform.
Installation Code
The code that you need to install on your website can be found by clicking on the Installation Code button under the Dashboard tab.
You need to paste that code on every page of your website just below the body tag.
Deploy
The Deploy tab displays a history of all your previous deployments. You can determine whether you have deployed the latest version of your SuperTag and who deployed it. When you are ready to deploy the latest version of your tags, you click the green Deploy button at the top right of the page and the latest version of your tags becomes active. You can also add a comment about the deployment and the tag changes that you have made.
Set Up and Configuration
1. Sign up and log in
Create a SuperTag account by navigating to https://app.supert.ag/ and then clicking the register link. Fill the required form fields. Once you’ve submitted your information, you will receive an email with your account details. Note that this process is not immediate, and there may be a slight delay between signing up and getting your account details mailed to you.
Once you receive your account details, you can always use the following link to login: https://app.supert.ag/
2.Tag library
Once you’ve logged in, you can click on your project name which takes you to the project’s dashboard. From there, you can navigate to the Tag Library. This is located under the Tags tab. From the tag library, find the Delacon tag under the Select a Platform to Install section and click on it. Then select the only available option under Select an Application section. It would take you to the settings definition section.
Enter your Delacon c_id and Delacon m_id. This is your customer id and master id, respectively. You can also enter a friendly name and an optional description for the new tag to better organise your tasks.
You can find these numbers by logging into the Delacon portal at https://pla.delaconcorp.com/site/jsp/login.jsp You can locate your master id (m_id) in the top blue bar at the top right of the page. You can then locate your c_id by clicking on the Campaign Directory tab and then clicking on a pencil icon next to the business name in which you are interested.
Once you’ve clicked on the pencil icon, you will be taken to the edit details page. Here you can find your customer id for that business located in the top right corner.
Take note of these two numbers as you will input them in the Delacon SuperTag fields.
Once you have input your data into the SuperTag fields, click the green Save tag button at the bottom right of the same page.
3. Tag Tree
Now that you’ve selected your Delacon Tag, you can navigate to your Tag Tree under the Tags tab. Here you can see a list of all your currently installed tags. You can hover over any tag to Edit, Apply Rule, Duplicate Tag, Code Preview, Tag Audit, Share, Delete, and Disable.
Note that the green dot next to the tag indicates that it is active. To disable any tag, you can simply click on the switch available leftmost on hovering over the tag. The indicator dot will turn red.
Also, if you click on the Code Preview, this will show you the code specific to this tag. This is not the SuperTag code that you would use to integrate into your site.
Testing
Before deploying your SuperTag site-wide, you should test it on your site to make sure that everything is functioning correctly.
To test the newly added tags in the SuperTag project, go to your website where you have pasted the installation code and open it with an added query parameter superT=test.
To do this, you should:
- Define a site
- Set up a page on your site to test
- Add your SuperTag code to the site
- Open your webpage in SuperTag Debugging Mode
1. Add SuperTag to your site
Click on the Installation Code button under the Dashboard tab to copy your SuperTag code. For details on exactly how to install it, see the Installation Code section of this document.
2. Define your business phone number in the Delacon Portal
Once you have done this, you will need to make sure that you define your existing business phone number in the Delacon Portal. This is the phone number that is displayed on the pages call tracking will be implemented on and is the number Delacon’s call tracking numbers will replace.
To do this, click on ‘edit’ for the relevant CID, navigate down to the business phone number field, update with the relevant phone number and click Submit Updates.
3. Open your webpage in SuperTag debugging mode
Open your website page where you have deployed the SuperTag code with query parameter superT=test. To add a query parameter to your webpage URL:
- If there are no query parameters already present in the URL, add ?superT=test in the end of the page URL.
- If there are already some query parameters in the URL, add &superT=test in the end of the page URL.
Once you successfully load the page with query parameter superT=test, you will be able to see the changes you have made in the SuperTag project. Make sure you are logged into SuperTag while attempting this. These changes are only seen by you and are not yet public.
Make sure that everything is fine, and Delacon is able to work as required. Once you are sure of everything working properly, you can deploy the changes. Deployment will make the changes public and available to all accessing the website.
If your tracking number is not displaying, you will need to troubleshoot why. Check to make sure your SuperTag code is correctly integrated, and that you have updated the business phone number field in the Delacon Portal.
Contact Delacon support if you run into any issues that you cannot resolve.
SuperTag Code Install and Deployment
1. Navigate to the Configure Tab
To get your SuperTag code, navigate to the Dashboard tab and click on Installation Code button.
Place the SuperTag code just after the opening <body> tag in all the pages of your website.

As a final step you should deploy your SuperTag to your entire site.
The Deploy button is available under both the Dashboard and Deploy tabs. Go to any of these and click deploy. You can write your own comments and choose which of the latest changes you want in your deployment.
