When using website tracking, Delacon's system will determine whether the caller is a new unique lead or a returning caller.
This article outlines different scenarios for categorising a caller as new or repeat.
The default attribution window for repeat callers is 7 days.
If you wish to customise this window, this can be configured in the Repeat Timer field.
For example, if the repeat timer is set to 1 day, we will class every call from a previous caller as "new" if they call again after 1 day of their original session.
The Repeat Timer can be edited in the Delacon portal by visiting Menu > Services > Edit > Repeat Timer. Please note, the time needs to be entered in minutes. Below is a conversion table for common time frames:
1 day = 1440 minutes
7 days = 10080 minutes
30 days = 43200 minutes
FAQs
- What is the maximum the repeat timer can be set to?
This may depend on the call volume for the respective service. Generally, a repeat timer setting of up to 6 months can be supported.
