When using website tracking, Delacon's system will determine whether the caller has returned to your website and called again, or if they have just redialed the number from a previous call. If they have redialed only, they will be marked as a repeat caller no matter how much time has passed. If you would prefer for callers to be treated as new after a set time period, even if they have not returned to your website- this can be configured (in whole minutes) in the Repeat Timer field.
For example, if the repeat timer is set to 1 day, we will class every call from a previous caller as "new" if they call again after 1 day of their original session.
The default setting is 7 days.
The Repeat Timer can be edited in the Delacon portal by visiting Menu > Services > Edit > Repeat Timer. Please note, the time needs to be entered in minutes. Below is a conversion table for common time frames:
1 day = 1440 minutes
7 days = 10080 minutes
30 days = 43200 minutes
