To track calls made from Facebook ads, you will need to add in specific UTM tags/campaign parameters to the URL of the ad link.
If a user clicks on an ad and goes to your web page and then they make a call from that page, the data will update in the Delacon portal.
The specific UTM tags to use include:
utm_source=facebook (this will define the source as Facebook and change the Search Engine field in the Delacon portal to 'Facebook')
utm_medium=cpc (this will identify the medium as CPC)
utm_campaign=<CampaignABC> (identifies the Facebook ad campaign the call came from)
For example. using the above parameters for Company ABC whose website URL is www.companyabc.com.au, the URL with added parameters would look like the below:
http://www.companyac.com.au?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=CampaignABC
