Business Phone Number

Introduction

The Business Phone number field is used to identify the existing site number that should be dynamically replaced with the Delacon tracking number. For example, if the number on your site prior to implementing call tracking was 1300 990 999, then you would enter this number in the Business Phone number field.

When Delacon's tracking code runs on your website it will search through the contents of the page and replace any occurrences of the Business Phone number with a tracking number automatically.

In most cases, the Business Phone number and the Termination number will be the same. For information on the Termination number, please click here.

Settings

Advanced settings for the business phone number field:

• If you have multiple numbers on your website that need to be replaced with the same Delacon number, then the Business Phone number field should contain both numbers separated by a dollar sign, eg 1300 990 999$1300 764 318.
• If you are using the Business Number as a word number on your website, you will need to add the number twice - once as a word and once as digits, eg 1300 Delacon$1300 335 2266.

The Business Phone Number can be edited in the Delacon portal by visiting  Services > List Services > Edit > Business Phone Number
