The tracking code needs to be on every page of your website - even if you don't have a number on the page - so that call tracking can be collected across your entire site. By putting the code on every page, you can ensure you track the correct referral source for each call.
If inserting the tracking code on a page that has no number, ensure you use the below version of the tracking code:
<script src="//vxml4.plavxml.com/sited/ref/ctrk/MID" async></script>
Note you will need to remove the c_id and preceding dash from the standard tracking code but keep the m_id as previously used.
For best practice:
- Ensure that this code or our standard call tracking code is on EVERY page of your website.
- Do not place the Delacon tracking tag on any page of your website more than once. If you are using multiple CIDs, you must use the multiple CID version of the code above.
